Chianti offers a ground floor restaurant, all-weather al fresco dining and two private upstairs dining rooms, ideal for intimate celebrations, cocktail parties, corporate functions and events.
The menus, which change several times a year, are focused on seasonal and local and interpreted with precisely the same enthusiasm a new season brings in regional Italy.
The wine list is sourced from the old and new world and Chianti has an incredible reserve list that features some of the world’s greatest wines.
As one of the first restaurants in South Australia to be awarded the Ospitalita’ Italiana accreditation, presented by the Italian Government and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Australia, they are committed to delivering an authentic Italian dining experience and recreating a little piece of Italy in Adelaide.

We celebrated a birthday at Chianti and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Every course arrived at a comfortable pace, the flavours were exceptional and the desserts were a perfect finish. The staff genuinely cared about making the evening enjoyable, and we’ll happily recommend this restaurant to friends.
Our dinner at Chianti was one of the highlights of our Adelaide trip. The pasta was cooked perfectly, every dish was beautifully presented and the wine recommendations complemented the meal wonderfully. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in the city.
Chianti has a warm, authentic atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy a long meal. The menu offered plenty of traditional Italian favourites, all prepared with quality ingredients and great attention to detail. Friendly, attentive service completed an evening that exceeded our expectations.
