Elyros, an ancient city where the principles of health and prosperity were abundant and the cuisine that flourished is our inspiration. After many a journey back to Crete, it became more apparent each time that we needed to express our hospitality in the form of our heritage.
We decided that the cuisine from this island not only represents us in our background but also on our concerns for provenance and integrity. We pride ourselves in using local seasonal produce and free range, grass fed meats.
Our décor is neo-classical, the dining room sets the tone for a procession of tastes all designed to be shared between friends and family, which will transport you to the fragrances of Crete.
The wine bar next door is a perfect meeting place for lovers of meze dishes and wine and cocktails. All day fare of small plates and some Cretan pantry items available to purchase too.
Our team will guide you through a tasting of Cretan flavours. Our wine team has compiled a list of wines from all over the world and smaller family wines for an enjoyable and cared for experience.
For Sunday lunches we offer our $45 Family style sharing menu, where you can relax and enjoy the traditional meals our families have enjoyed on Sundays of past.
Our commitment is to provide healthy Cretan cuisine from land and sea produce in keeping with the ethics of the Mediterranean diet.
